Not far from the Contemporary Art Museum, we saw hoards of people holding their beer in plastic cups. Up til now, we were't sure what is going on, but even 2 days ago in Gent, pubs, bars, restaurants, set up a stall in front of their vicinity. Anything would do to bring people out into the outdoors, for it is summer now. Mons in particular, had a whole square transform into a performance-like-arena.

Can't help myself to enjoy the festivity although I had no idea what is going on. On another note, my belgian friend billy mention that bars and pubs have stalls in front of their vicinity to celebrate the end of the semester.
Aside from the Grand Place, we saw quite a number of people with ties of red and white fabric around their neck, but then again the church itself had lots of red and white ribbon and that includes their flag. Pretty patriotic..
